Welcome to OguaSchoolz, a school management platform developed and operated by OguSes IT Solutions. By accessing or using our website at oguaschoolz.com or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting a request, or using any part of the OguaSchoolz platform (including the web application and mobile apps), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Services

OguaSchoolz provides a cloud-based school management system for basic schools, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Student enrollment, results, and academic records management
• Fee collection, billing, and financial reporting
• Staff and human resource management
• Parent, student, lecturer, and administrator portals
• Mobile application access for all user types
• SMS and push notification alerts
• Report card generation and academic analytics

3. Account Registration

To use OguaSchoolz, you must register an institution account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@oguaschoolz.com of any unauthorized access to your account. OguaSchoolz is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized account use caused by your failure to safeguard credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use OguaSchoolz only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Upload or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its data
• Misuse, falsify, or tamper with student records or financial data
• Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the system without written consent
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of OguaSchoolz is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the platform, you consent to data processing as outlined in the Privacy Policy. Institution administrators are responsible for ensuring that student and staff data uploaded to the platform complies with applicable data protection laws in their jurisdiction.

6. Subscription and Payments

Access to certain features of OguaSchoolz requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed as per the plan selected during registration. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a written agreement. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new rates.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, logos, and functionality comprising OguaSchoolz are the exclusive property of OguSes IT Solutions and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Your institution retains ownership of its own data uploaded to the platform.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We will provide advance notice for scheduled maintenance where reasonably possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OguSes IT Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or institutional operations — arising from your use of or inability to use OguaSchoolz. Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive or illegal conduct, or fail to maintain payment for a paid subscription. Upon termination, your access to the platform and its data will be revoked. You may request an export of your institution's data within 30 days of account closure.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
